See, we all technically “over breathe” which means we take more short, shallow breaths (a reduction in breathing volume). When this happens, repercussions occur such as anxiety, hyperventilation, and asthma just to name a few. I can go into the science of it like how it reduces CO2 levels (which we need in our blood) and reduces nitric oxide intake (which is something we need as well)… but I’ll save that for a conversation.
